Frankfurt sits in the centre of Germany’s network of autobahns and is one of the country’s most important transport hubs, with continental Europe’s largest airport and one of the busiest railway stations in Germany.

The city itself boasts an integrated public transport system with coordinated buses, trams, underground and overground rail links, and taxis.

How to find us

By car

  • Follow the “Messe” signs and take the exit marked “Westkreuz Frankfurt”. The overhead signs will guide you to the fairgrounds.
  • Take the second exit at the roundabout.
  • Follow the signs marked “Messe Frankfurt – Tor 11”.
  • The porter at Gate 11 will provide parking information.

Air travel

  • Arrival at Frankfurt Airport, just 15km away from the fairgrounds.
  • An airport shuttle will be running during the exhibition.
  • To take a taxi directly to the fairgrounds: tell the taxi driver you wish to go to “Messe Frankfurt, Hall 8”
  • With public transport: suburban rail (S-Bahn) line S8 and S9 from the airport to the Frankfurt main train station (Hauptbahnhof).

By train

  • Arrival at the Frankfurt main train station (Hauptbahnhof).
  • You can walk to the fairgrounds in just 15 minutes.
  • To take the tram: board line 16 at the stop located on the square in front of the station.
    Get off at the stop marked Festhalle/Messe.
  • For the underground train (U-Bahn), take line U4 from the Frankfurt main station direction Bockenheimer Warte. Get off at the stop marked Messe/Festhalle (1 stop). Enter the fairgrounds through the main entrance next to the Maritim Hotel. Follow the signs to the Forum. A free shuttle bus service will run between the Forum and Hall 8 during show hours.
  • From the Frankfurt main station with the suburban train (S-Bahn) lines S3, S4, S5 and S6 (2 stops). Get off at the stop marked “Messe”, entrance Torhaus. Follow the signs to Hall 8.
