Professional Development and Innovation Pavilion
For 2009 the Pavilion is being further developed into the Professional Development and Innovation Pavilion (previously the Professional Development Pavilion). Sponsored by the
Convention Industry Council (CIC), the Pavilion recognises the importance of education and training within the meetings industry. Education and training not only raises standards but also ensures that the industry attracts the very best calibre of young person - to safeguard the future of the industry.
The 2009 Professional Development and Innovation Pavilion will be host to industry innovators who will offer their expertise and advice in one to one sessions and group seminars, giving delegates the chance to discuss how to drive their business forward with the most forward thinking people in the industry.
The Professional Development Pavilion 2008 showcased the many educational and training opportunities that exist for every level of management within the meetings industry.
Over 30 exhibitors, including international industry associations, universities, specialist training companies and consultants, promoted their education and training products at IMEX 2008.
Free Speed-Mentoring sessions were offered in the Professional Development Pavilion at IMEX 2008 courtesy of mentoring specialist SHINE People & Places. The focused 30-minute sessions were run by professional coach-mentors.
